This was such a cool class to take. A lot of the activities were huge stress relievers and some of them will definitely be on my list for redoing. My 3 favorite would have to be landscapes with a corpse, automatic drawing, and finger painting. These 3 projects didn’t have a lot of structure and made it very open to basically do whatever I want with it. My 3 least favorite were the Flip books, sketching in the garden, and Art Care package. These 3 projects were a bit time consuming for me and I’ve always liked projects that were quick and simple. I think I sill do love face to face a lot better. Taking both a hybrid and online class this semester really opened my eyes on how I really don’t like sitting on computer for hours completing homework assignments. I rather just sit in a class and have a professor lecture at me. I really did like the Art talk OTW and classmate conversations but I feel like we visited the SOA a bit too much. I think maybe going to the University Art Museum is something the students can check out once in a while. The weekly blog posts were pretty sweet and a easy way for the professor to check to see what the students were up to. Being exposed to a weekly blog now gets students interested in making a blog not just for their professionalism but also to as a fun hobby.
